Prayer

Prayer Requests are always welcome at the Penn Yan United Methodist Church.  We have a couple of different ways to submit a prayer request.  There are two major focuses for prayer: the Prayer Concerns List and the Prayer Chain.   

The Prayer Concerns List contains the names of those on the list in the announcement section of the bulletin each week.  A separate list is kept in the office and is managed by the Pastors and the Prayer Team co-leaders, Sandy Harris and Marie Smith. 

If at any time you have a prayer request, please do the following:

 E-mail or call the church office or one of the following prayer team members:

You may also fill out a prayer request form and leave it in the basket at the front of the worship area, or mail it to the Church office. Prayer request forms may be found in the worship areas, or in the Church office.  If you wish your request to be confidential, please make your desire known on the card or during the phone conversation.

You can submit a prayer request simply by completing the following information:

If your request has been removed from the list and you wish it to be placed back on the list, simply make contact according to the above method and we will be happy to do so.  We reserve the right to remove names from the list after a reasonable amount of time with no updated information as to the condition of the person on the list.  This is at the discretion of the Pastors and the Prayer Team co-leaders.  We will make an effort to contact the reporting person for an update before taking the name off the list.
